The Huntington Story, est. 1927

Founded by Simon Shulman in 1927 and originally located on Huntington Avenue in Boston, Huntington Tire & Battery started out by supplying car tires and batteries to the original cab companies in the area.

Bill Shulman, Simon's son, added the expertise and skills he acquired during his time in the Navy and began performing repairs on radios, TVs, and other electronics. Back then, Huntington also provided rental TVs to patients staying in the local hospitals. On December 30th, 1960, Huntington Radio & TV, Inc. was formally incorporated.

As time progressed, the company moved to Newton Massachusetts, and by the year 2000, Simon's grandson, Larry Shulman, brought the company into the future by becoming the premier resource in the community for consumer electronics. Huntington Radio & TV was at the forefront of the introduction of flat-screen TV's, whole-home music, and the beginnings of home automation. As of January of 2022, Larry Shulman proudly passed the legacy and ownership of the company to employees Neil De Angelis & Anthony Ianniccheri.

Today, Huntington Home Systems, Inc., now Veteran owned, is looking forward to its 100th year anniversary in 2027. With their combined decades of experience in the Home Electronics and Audio Video Industry, Neil, Anthony, and their staff continue to carry on the Huntington brand by providing luxury home entertainment and technology solutions for clients throughout New England.
